Mental Health & Family Counsellor
Relationship Patterns · Couples Counselling · Addiction & Recovery · Decision Processes
I provide structured online mental health counselling for individuals, couples, and families navigating recurring relationship patterns, addiction-related behaviors, and complex decision processes.
My work focuses on identifying the emotional and behavioral cycles that often keep people stuck in repeating relational dynamics, unhealthy behavioral patterns, or prolonged uncertainty.
The goal is not to prolong the process.
It is to make patterns visible and expand your capacity to move forward with greater clarity.

Counselling Approach
My work focuses on understanding recurring emotional and behavioral patterns that shape relationship dynamics, addiction-related behaviors, and decision-making processes.
The counselling process focuses on identifying underlying patterns and helping individuals and couples move toward clearer, more practical decisions.
The work is structured, collaborative, and focused on helping individuals and couples develop greater clarity, emotional awareness, and practical direction in situations that feel repetitive or difficult to change.
Academic Background
I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Istanbul Bilgi University (English-medium, full scholarship). My academic training focused on human behavior, relational dynamics, and psychological decision-making processes.
During my M.A. studies at Bahçeşehir University, I conducted research in Media Psychology, examining how behavioral patterns are formed and sustained. This work was later published in an international peer-reviewed journal.
Family Counseling Training
In 2020, I completed a Family Counseling Certification Program at Marmara University
(300 hours theoretical training · 120 hours practicum · 30 hours supervision).
This training strengthened my ability to work with couples, family systems, and relational dynamics from a structured counselling perspective.
Professional Development
My professional development includes training through:
Harvard University — Mental Health & Resilience
Yale University — Addiction Treatment
Johns Hopkins University — Psychological First Aid
Wesleyan University — Suicide Prevention
Ongoing APA programs in addiction and mood disorders
Professional Practice
I have been working in mental health support since 2013, and in relationship-focused and structured counselling work since 2020.
My approach is grounded in evidence-informed, practical, and structured counselling frameworks.
Rather than offering abstract advice, I focus on clarifying the situation, identifying recurring emotional and behavioral cycles, and supporting informed decision-making.
The aim is not to "fix" life, but to make it clearer, more balanced, and more manageable.
